My cat is the same but also in short bursts. I feel like carrying a cat is generally fine if they trust you and you do it in a way that isn't uncomfortable for them.

There’s a bug where the subscribe and block buttons are showing up as text for some. You can click ‘Create a post’ then use the back button and you should see the buttons then.

There's also a potential bug at play: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3349

But who knows for certain

Are the images you're uploading larger than 1MB? If so have you tried a smaller one?

Another workaround: Click create post the go back to a page and the buttons should appear

Walked outside for a good bit today and I feel like I've smoked a pack of cigarettes

It's a known issue:

https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3101

https://lemmy.ml/post/1453121

Seems to be growing pains from Lemmy having to scale up in a very short amount of time so hopefully they are able to find a workaround soon.

It's not happening everywhere and all the time but it happens enough for you to think a post or comment has no engagement when it does just not on your instance.

It is in my country

Because no other place tolerates them so they flock to any that do. That's unfortunate reality of prioritizing 'free speech' over everything on a public internet space. You invite the baggage that comes with that.

Looks like they host that type of porn...

If you want to personally avoid it showing up on your feed you can just open the communities and block them (I don't think there's a way to block an entire instance yet unfortunately).

But yeah I understand that it's not ideal to have to do that to avoid seeing their garbage in your feed to begin with.
