I'm seeing that here and there. I wish SE would do that for their mobile titles but... nah.

Oh but this does give me hope for Fire Emblem at least. I liked that game until I realized I had no money or time for gacha.

Ohhhh, feeling adventurous!

I'd have guessed a nice tall glass of milk.

Their voters are (somehow) split on that issue, so understandable they don't want to highlight a weakness during their convention. There's plenty of other issues that Democrats are split on, too, as with any two party system. (And btw, as a whole, they're still a hell of a lot better on Gaza than their GOP counterparts, or as my crazy GOP uncle-in-law said recently in a family get together, he wants to see Gaza turned to glass as Muslims deserve).

Would I like to see a better DNC? Sure. But I'll accept that at least they're better than last time, allowing AOC to actually give a speech and highlight economic disparities more throughout (as in, less afraid of the socialist label). Plus Harris picked Walz over Shapiro, which really would have reinforced the isreal position.

I figured out how to ignore those thoughts just in time for social media to exist and make real people say those things instead. Sigh.

Mom got angry when I kept putting chicken bones under my pillow each night. "Don't incur the wrath of the bone fairy!" she warned!

Anyway, I'm a fae touched warlock now so who's laughing now, Ma.

Reminds me whenever I'm playing FFXIV with friends and a gaze attack is coming we're shouting "watch out for the gaze!" and I start giggling.

I thought so, I saw the original and I think we're getting gas lit here. It's infuriating that the repost had the gal to pretend Ape Escape was on Nintendo, and moreover, any fucking good.

Ah yes, it is lovely to see.

I wonder if some of that nuance is medical debt. If you divorce before the bills come in, can you get away with only the ill person getting the debt? If it's terminal, do you have a way to deny debt collectors by saying you're divorced?

Of course, the gender angle still suggests otherwise, but I imagine that's mostly a breadwinner/power dynamic that hopefully is changing with more women in the workforce.

It's like when you let a little kid choose their own clothes.

Did he have a special 386? I had one as a kid around that time and we were poor as dirt (then again, it might have 'fell off the truck' at Dad's work)

Again, kind of a point for NPR given at least they do have an expert talk for like, 3 to 15 (or longer for some specially podcasts) and never angry. Less or no ads, although they still have sponsors. Plus if it's really grim, they give a content warning (although it's not like they show snuff videos like cable news does).

Also local news affiliates, they fill time with silly fluff like how a bake off is going or local pet adoptions. But that still has the ads.
