So a remake of 1&2 or a 4th game?

This is hard to get a return with no japan studio and sony that doesn't create jrpg's at all. But i root for you.

I thought the red hair girl is the dino...seems she is just behind it. And What wrong with the profile pic of the dog and the actual dog? Funny, but not some kind of style i prefer.

I would like to see a new Valkyrie Profile game. Not something like Valkyrie Elysium, that is for sure some different kind of game. A modern approach of it would be nice.

Vision of Mana is the latest mainline game of the Mana series after 18 years (Dawn of Mana/2006). So franchises that don't get much attention anymore could come back. What franchise that have ended or don't get much attention from their publishers would you like to see come back?

it's not down for me

At least SE want more money and didn't get enough the last years. So either Sony is paying more or they go multiplattform. Japan is maybe for sure a market SE doesn't want to lose. And the ps5 is decent there, but nothing compared to switch and the pc is maybe about as big as ps5 or even biger in japan.

The next Nintendo generation should at least have about as much power as the Xbox Series S. So we will, at least for a while, have games with lower graphic (xbox series s/nintendo's console) games with mid graphic (PS5, Xbox Series X, some pc's) and high end (PC's, maybe ps5 pro soon). The ps5, xbox series shouldn't be replace for about 4 years. So yes, until PS6 there shouldn't be a big problem invest in nintendo's plattform.

I'm rarely a pc gamer, so i don't know much about it. So what are you waiting for?

SE has already annouced, that they want to go more multiplattform releasing game von ps, xbox, pc and even nintendo plattforms. So i'm not surprised about that.

It's better than trails of cold steel 1, but that's not really hard i guess. I would say it's probably a nice start to play the better Trails to Azure (at least some of you say it's better), but i wouldn't say it's the best. The first half feels more like doing a lot of side quests, while the second half is more exiting. So far Trails of Cold Steel 3&4 are my favorite, it's not on that level. I don't know about the Trails of the sky games in comparison that well anymore. But i would rank it about Trails of Cold steel 2. While it's kinda nice how the Story envolved in Crossbell, you do a lot Backtracking and visit always the same places. But things that go for it, it has a simple graphic with a lot 2D sprites in a cheap looking 3D world, but some of the presentation is kinda charming. I like how the manage to do the Arc en Ciel part for example.

The legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure. Finally beat Trails from Zero yesterday, so i guess i start the next one.

This looks a bit messy. Usually i like grid based strategy gameplay more, because you clearly able to foresee enemies movement and attack ranges. It's still only a screenshot, i just hope they have solved that issue somehow.

This game is already available on Steam if your main platform ist the pc

A demo for action RPG Visions of Mana is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.

Microsofts consoles are probably not the best place to play jrpg's, but ocationaly Microsoft takes a bit money to either get marketing rights to jrpg's (a lot atlus games) or spend money creating exclusive games. These exclusive games wer mostly produced at the time of the Xbox 360. One example would be Tales of Vesperia. Also The Last Remnant or Resonance of Fates would be two games that came out at that time and come to my mind.

Since the Xbox 360 Store will close soon, or probably already has been, i want to know what would be the best game you can think of for the Xbox 360 and let's hope there are enough ressources online to still get these games.

Also i heard of a game exclusive on xbox with sky ships that was exclusive and never got a remake/remaster or port? Someone know what i mean?

This community got 1 year old. While we still a small community, it's nice to see that we have more than one active person posting and even more people comment on posts. But with that fact in mind that a lot more people comment that post something I want to remind you that even a single review about a game, regardless if it's old or new, would benefit the community a lot. So it would be nice to see more different people creating posts about jrpg games.

I'm really invested into RL currently, so I let a few things slide. I want to change to banner image a few weeks ago or do other things. But you will see more about that soon. I take it as an opportunity to ask you about feedback what we could change or do better in the community.

I'm currently the only moderator of the community. For myself that fine so far. But if someone would be interested to be a co moderator, please reach out to me. Some requirements would be to be active on Lemmy, you are a communicative person and we are able to reach out to each other and it's clear that you fulfil a basic behaviour I would expect from a moderator. More information about that if you contact me.

At the end I want to thank some Persons:
