Big phones suck so much. I'm using a Samsung S10e, because that's the only model I have found that is small and actually pretty good, despite its age. What phone are you using?

Now this was interesting to read through. I guess that's what money does with us.

Maybe the Yo-Kai Watch games? They are RPGs probably inspired by Pokemon, but better in basically every way.

You play as a kid befriending Yo-Kai (creatures taken from japanese folklore), while exploring a pretty cool city. Has a nice soundtrack as well. The story of the first game is kinda meh, but I think it still has that summer vibe.

The second game is a lot better, with an actual story, more stuff to do and more to explore. Definitely the better game, but playing it first might make the first one less enjoyable afterwards.

Both of these games have that childhood summer adventure vibe, even though I myself didn't spent my childhood befriending Yo-Kai.

Awesome. Just read through the whole page, seems like they made some big changes. Very nice!

Maybe. It's definitely good at what it does, playing music.

I really like this app. Though it does seem to have google tracking according to duckduckgo. Maybe inevitable because it's getting the music data from YouTube? But that would mean that it wouldn't work while blocking the trackers, but it does work. I don't know, just felt it was worth pointing out.

Besides that, pretty nice app. Works well, has a nice UI.

I think people judge it too much. It's a pretty early design, and it layed the ground work for what analog sticks are now.

The PlayStations controller for example didn't even have sticks, even though it's also a console with mainly 3D games. At least Nintendo took the effort to design something that is more usable for 3D games.

And I mean after that, they rarely made bad sticks? The Gamecube controllers sticks have a very unique, very nice feeling to them that's still more or less there with the Wii. The Wii U has more traditional sticks, but they also work completely fine. My gamepad has many hundreds of hours of playtime on it, and the sticks work like on day one.

But yeah, that definitely changed with the Switch. Fuck that thing and its joy cons, already had drift on them multiple times. The thing that annoys me the most is that they just pretend like the problem is not there, they basically tell you to go fuck yourself. Even my Switch pro controller had drift issues, which is just something I never had with Nintendo controllers before.

Yeah, music is a weird one. I also always said I didn't listen to music. I did listen to a lot of songs from video games though. When I was annoyed enough I told them something like Rock, but that always led to the question if I can name some artists or songs. Didn't knew many. I hate these kinds of conversations.

This is sick, definitely gonna check that out later. The Satellaview is such a cool device, kinda retro futuristic. The idea of using satellites seems crazy today. What a shame it never released outside Japan. I guess making such a service work in other countries would have been really expensive.

That's basically what I was thinking. Maybe something like an i3 12100 would be a good choice, but that is also almost overkill. I'm personally using an 10100f, and that's not just fine for web browsing, but also gaming.

The PSU is also overkill I guess, but going with a quality PSU is a great idea nonetheless. But something like a 400W unit may be better suited for this built, since a PSU is going to be less efficient when it's just getting utilized about 20%. Even 400W may be too much.

Why are you going with the i5 though? It's absolute overkill for web browsing and office stuff. Or did I miss something in your post that explains the choice?

Oh man, I really have to play Superstar Saga again. Started it in 2019 when I got a GBA for the first time, but every time I took a break from the game it was larger than the one before. That's kinda weird too, since I remember the game quite good.

Anyway, I always forgot the button combinations for the different attack moves. I somehow still made it to the final boss but never beat it, because at that point I just forgot basically everything. Really one of my weirdest playthroughs. Definitely have to check that game out again, thanks for reminding me about it. Good luck with your playthrough!
