It's coming tothe end of the month so get in touch with a bunch of recruiters. They'll want to maximise their commission so they'll put you up for any interview

I've figured out. Lie on your resume about having Power BI experience. Lie on your resume about having this certification.

When you have an interview, go on StackExchange and read through questions to come up with interview answers.

Once you're in you'll have like 2 weeks where you aren't doing anything. Learn everything Power BI you can in that time. Microsoft has their own tutorials and my work's online learn portal has 14 hour courses on Power BI.

You should know how to use it then before you're thrown an actual problem. In reality, you'll probably just be running reports the person before you set up.

Anything solid from brands like Yamaha, Sennheiser, or LG should be good.

I used to work for Yamaha and bought a mid range sound bar for my dad. We set it up through HDMI ARC and the only issue is sometimes the soundbar volume and TV volume get it of sync. Turning both down to 0 and back up fixes it.

If budget allows, go for a 3 channel soundbar, the middle speaker channel in a surround setup is dedicated to dialogue, so it might help with the modern problems of not being able to understand what people are saying in streaming shows these days. Otherwise I know the Yamaha speakers have a dialogue boost sound mode.

I had a shitty period of work and I glossed over it by grouping all that time under an agency I worked for. Any time I talk about work experience from that era it was for a 'client' of the agency.

I also worked some interesting jobs through a recruitment company but they were all short term contracts. When the question of 'why did you leave?' Comes up I can say it was the end of the contract.

You might need to find people willing to lie to cover up the last two years though, or stretch out your last role on your resume to look like you finished last week.

But does he score?

Finally, anti-woke country

I put linux on an old laptop for my kids to play with, but I want them to see me using it as well so it's not just seen as a kids' toy.

My plan was to browse the internet on it from time to time, but I don't want to sign into anything like my emails on there.

I've just been completely at a loss to think ofthings to do on this laptop that aren't Wikipedia, news websites, and search.

Is there anything else to do on the internet these days than login and doomscroll?

I did NOT have THAT on my bingo card.

Because I'm such a dart monkey

People always say this. What's a destitute primate got to do with the point I'm making?

Or your dad

That would be epic!

Oops! I didn't say, "Simon says".

More and more people are saying it. Will her VP pick be brat enough to keep up with Kamala?

Will people be able to decipher the drama queen's messages enough to get policy takeaways?

Hand on the lathe, this is how the election will be covered going forward
