That will explain the ML perspective, and I've heard that Ben Becker 'Lenin's Imperialism in the 21st Century' is a good follow up but I haven't read it myself, there might be better ones

I've had some skates for a while but I lost one of the wheels I bought right after my flat frame arrived

the wheel thing is a good idea, I think I'll try them when it's not raining. there's a diy skatepark near here and they just added a kicker ramp (they tore down a ToysRUs and it was just empty for ages until some locals built a park out of wood/cement), so pretty good timing!
