So I've been needing to get a new desk chair for my WFH set up for so long - my partner put in an argument for an investment into a gaming chair which I bought and set up yesterday....my god this chair is fucking amazing! I'm now tempted to nap in this chair today because it's so comfortable.

He really should have announced it in his North Face jacket and starting with "at 11.59 pm today..." just for old times sake

The bag of two-year old Woolies seedlings that I found in my house have started to sprout! Soon will be time for potting

Ducking out to the pub for a cheeky outdoor pint was great in hindsight but I still have emails to answer booooooooooooo

I've made the decision to start re-watching Lost...God give me strength.

Has anyone been to the Sense of self day spa in Collingwood? Was it worth it?

Kmart have already started with the Halloween stuff - so I picked up a pair of ghost earrings but I'm probably gonna wear them all year round cause they are super cute (and spooky! but you can be spooky all year round) haha

Ahhh when the world is falling apart and nothing is going right - there's nothing quite like disappearing into an op-shop for a few hours and coming out feeling like a new person (or maybe that's just me...)

Ah I sent through individual 'thank you for meeting me/I do really want this job' emails to everyone on the interview panel on Monday! Maybe I will wait until the end of the week and follow up with the recruiter who scheduled the interview.

Ugh. Went for an interview on Friday morning and have that sinking feeling I didn't get the job. They said they would get back to me early this week and so far i've heard nothing. Feel like if they were keen they would be reaching out by now to do reference checks etc. I actually prepped hard for this - wrote out STAR answers, verbally practiced questions and went in and gave some new angles to my work examples that were different from all my other failed interviews. Was still bloody nervous though and I think it showed in my voice - maybe that didn't sit right with them? Sigh. I seem to be getting applications into the interview stage but just can't seem to seal the deal.
