That's exactly how it works. At least the Grover guy is being honest, but in the majority of cases people will act all holy but their actions still end up fucking you over.

I just imagine this taliban dude coming home and sitting down in his reclining chair and going: "Aaahhh, I finally won the war against my tinky winky."

Isn't there something that emits co2 and then zaps them?

I guess I should just get a net and a hand held zapper?

It's better to look into it yourself, as I'm not knowledgeable on the topic.

Afaik a significant portion of all food is wasted by supermarkets, restaurants, and at home. Wrapping it in a thin foil keeps it fresh and extends shelf life considerably. So it's important to weigh all these things in order to find what's best environmentally.

Further, it might be the type of plastic that's safer for food and is trivial to recycle. It's also very thin and soft and so that might require a lot less resources to produce compared to harder and thicker plastics. For example a plastic bottle might contain more plastic than say the wrapping of 100s of paprika's. Just pulling those nrs from the air but it's just to give a rough idea.

Und noch ein weiterer Vorteil des Nachbarn, der sich immer über seinen Anus beschwert, aber seine Hände einfach nicht vom Chili lassen kann.

Kind of unfitting advice, but you might want to travel and visit places where it isn't a problem.

Either that or a lot of luck to run into someone. Or an online place, and also have the luck or running into someone there from your local area.

Afaik it tends to concentrate further up the foodchain, so keeping meat, especially fish, out of your diet will help. Particularly filter feeders like shrimp and anything that eats those.

I'd also like to add that wrapping food in plastic reduces waste considerably, so you might want to look into that and balance your view against that.

I just want to note that I had to switch away from bamboo brushes due to them not having soft versions where I live.

Do you have any experience using some kind of zapper or lamp or some other tool?

Sorry if I triggered you 🫂

It's good for all of us to be privacy literate, given that things can take a turn for the worse in many places, or already are bad. There was a post a few days ago that highlighted how the vast majority of trans people rely on internet access 🤔

I'll start by saying that matrix seems to be a solid solution for communication, and tor for accessing information. It's worth it to get familiar with them before you need them yourself, but also to understand them as a community so we can support each other globally 🏳️‍⚧️

I am also wondering if any of you are familiar with getting around network restrictions. For example a DIY mesh network? 📡

Don't give up. Eat your breakfast. Be ready to open the door. Sometimes I just can't take it anymore. A shoe lace here, a shoe lace there, all tangled up and poor.

I ruminate in the deepest point of darkness. In the eye of the singularity and at the heart of warmth. Thuds of fire strike upon the distant shore.

I pull and I pull, but I cannot free my neck. And my face runs pale, and my experience runs thin. I gasp for air, and I let it in.

An oasis in my breath. The orange of orange juice. And I, and I can be found in the blue sky, by the grace one cannot lose.

When last night I lay in pain, I snapped this just for you, as the moon came.

Hey lovelies, open question: Are any of you into self defense and do you want to share something with the rest of us?

❤️⚔️❤️

I was at this fry shop today and the owner was teaching his new minions how to make what I had ordered. He said sir in the background. Well, I'm used to it, so whatever, I plopped my butt down and waited for that golden finger lickin' goodness.

Eventually the guy awkwardly comes to the front through a door. Acts out of place. Says something nice to this person and that person, dunno what he was up to at first so I just did my thing.

At some point he works up the courage and walks up to me and makes some small talk. Then he asked me my pronouns, so I'm like she/her. He apologized that he misgendered me before and called me adorable! 😭

Now, just yesterday someone called me a trannie before riding off on his bicycle, but that's a story for another time. Safe to say I'm a fair Claire ⭐
