I’ve known this and it made me so uneasy when my neighbors moved in with their two Teslas. On one hand, theres the chance that their car lights itself on fire and burns down my house. On the other hand it’s going to be recording me in my living room while it burns.

If you live in a country under GDPR you can probably get an amazingly annoying gdpr data subject request to Tesla that they won’t be able to economically complete. If I knew a lawyer I think that would actually be a very interesting court case.

You might not even need a lawyer depending on how assertive your local GDPR regulators are.

GDPR is a very strongly worded law, with very weak enforcement. See every single company that operates with data in Europe. So I wouldn’t hold your breath.
