MODERATORS

I just got a comment deleted and my account banned from noncredibledefense@shitjustworks (or however they parse that out). It was a shitty meme fantasizing about Japan getting to do more murdering in China, in the event of a war over Taiwan. I got called a tankie and banned for questioning whether Japan had any appetite for a war with China, and that I thought S Korea would be kept out of the conflict by the threat from N Korea.

Friends, I did not glorify communism, nor did I take any position on the disposition of Taiwan. Basically my sin seems to have been pointing out the "non-credibility" of the meme.

Anyway, I just didn't know where else to post about this (can't even message the mod that banned me!). I know hexbears shun that whole server, so I guess I'm really finding out why.

Yes; the same way we Communists can sniff out Nazis with their disingenuous arguements, Nazis are able to generally sniff out Communists with their inability to completely go along with racist rhetoric. Hexbear bans Nazis because of their repugnant ideology, ShitJustWorks bans Communists because of their "repugnant ideology".

I'm not even really a communist though? Like, don't get me wrong I sympathize pretty hard with communists, but I'm not reading all those books (seriously). I organize mostly with anarchists because I know a bunch of cool ones around here doing cool shit. It really seems like they just did not like any interruption to their brainwashing circlejerk.

Anything to the left of the state department is a tankie to a lot of people

Eh, from the perspective of communists it's which class you fight for the benefit of. They care about the benefit of the bourgeois class, you care about and work towards the benefit of the working class; thus by Lenin's system of classification you'd simply be a socialist of some stripe. So, yeah, you might not be a communist but we're working together so who gaf

Fair enough and I'll take it.

Congrats, in the eyes of right-wingers you're now a communist. They don't differentiate between left-wingers just like we don't really differentiate between "conservatives" and "fascists".

Someone who works and organizes for the benefit of the working class is infinitely more productive than someone who just sits around absorbing increasingly esoteric snippets of Marxist lore.

No one is simply born a communist shitposter. But as you live among us you will learn our ways until you, too, casually drop a "stalin shouldn't have stopped at berlin" joke at a family dinner.

Read all those books and I'll give you a comradely pat on the back and a red star.
