For pride month I'm remembering a lesbian woman known throughout my area as "The jean lady" for her obsession with making sure everyone had a couple good pairs of jeans. (hexbear.net)

She knew the waist size of every person (particularly kids) in the area, and would drive around with boxes full of jeans. She would mend, patch, and fit them, and collect any unwanted, worn out, or outgrown denim

That's cool as hell. She sounds like a good egg. Having a pair of pants that fits well is nice, especially if you can't afford to buy them very often.
