If any of these things appeal to you, this game is worth it: deck builders, tactical turn-based combat, the hangout parts of recent Fire Emblem and Persona games, superheroes (particularly the edgy ones)
I actually liked the game a lot. I did a full playthrough. The combat system is quite fun. I thought the social aspects were very comfy, but I can see some people being put off by them. There is a lot of dialogue and side stuff
Yeah, for this one you have to decide if "Blade starts a book club to hang out with his crush, only to have a third wheel tag on because he genuinely want to read books and be buds" is enough to make you want to play an 80+ hour game. For me, that was 100% what sold me on it.
The side story stuff is campy and cheesy but in a very endearing way. Also an excellent strategy game.
