I want to live in this fantasy world of yours where nobody ever challenges left-wing views
we grew up steeped in your views, your milquetoast status-quo centrist Liberal moralism and idealism. We know exactly how you think because it's how we used to think. Your arguments are an incoherent mix of "liberal" and "conservative" views that are all entirely wrong and miss the point, yet you think you know the entire spectrum when you only understand a small portion of it. You don't think in a systematic, class-based or organized way. Liberals have a goldfish brain of history, and think their lack of knowing better makes them smart enough to spout of their facile uneducated views. You don't strive to change things or enact our class interests, you think in a lazy half-baked self-interested individualist way. You don't believe you have a duty, you don't believe you have a specific place in history. You think me, me, and those I know - only in the short term.
You have no idea the views of communists, of marx, of castro or lenin. I can explain them to you on any subject you like but I doubt you are genuinely curious to learn.
I think in a realistic way. I support bernie & aoc and donate monthly to fund progressive candidates, but they arent far enough left for you guys. Progressives are making real change and influencing policy decisions while communists require a revolution for their goals. The chance of something like that being successful AND those who have power at the end being altruistic is miniscule. So no, i dont support uprooting the lives of everyone to achieve an impossible goal. We can achieve UBI, universal healthcare, campaign finance reform, walkable cities, etc in a capitalist society. That has been tested and proven.
Your problem is that you call anyone who isnt a full on communist a 'liberal'. Youre far too idealistic.
