Its seems like such an incredible oversight that it ends up OTC unlike codeine in many places when its far more traditionally neurochemically altering.

I'm glad its available and can be used once in a while as a poor-man's ketamine to help recalibrate your affect and mental state and get the neuroplasticity shifting things around.

Who has experience(s) with DXM?

Honestly not a fan of dissos. For me it's classic psychedelics all the way, no shrooms either the body load is unbearable, and k has its own bladder problems, so either LSD or DMT for me honestly and both are readily available on DNMs.

Whats the deal with the duration of action with DMT, heard its super short (kinda like the crack of psychedelics) Something something MAOinhibitor?

It's not a party psychedelic. It's short if you compare it to your typical perception of time, but feels vastly longer; your perception of everything changes. If you take any MAOIs, don't touch DMT. It'll last longer and you'll likely be miserable if you aren't experienced with it.

Also, n,n,dmt gives you more visuals than 5-meo dmt, but 5-meo dmt is better for introspection in my experience. Each have their purpose, and neither should be at all underestimated. If you take either, understand you don't control the trip once you've begun. Let it guide you, accept what happens during it, and find a way to learn from the experience. As with anything, do a lot of research prior to taking it, test it, and use it when you're in a good setting and state of mind for it.

It's like 5 minutes of actual action and 15 more of come up/come down and slightly longer once you "break through". I'd trip several times in a row to make it more interesting. Overall it's nowhere near as intense or as life changing as LSD.
