Trump only believes in making money for himself. He'd be a die-hard communist if he thought a Marxist revolution would make him richer. Not having any beliefs if why he's so incoherent. Trump will contradict himself in the same sentence. This allows his supporters to project their views onto him. It's also what makes him align with fascism.

Trump definitely understands showmanship, though. I think he says a lot of things just to get reactions out of people, not necessarily because he's saying anything relevant.
