these people sure have a very limited set of games they can play now aint it
They're playing the games anyway and their steam accounts prove it.
They just don't count the ones they like. Baldurs gate 3 is the prime example.
The most gate pandering game imaginable was "Subverse," which was crowdfunded by gaters and even advertised directly to them. It was a waifu harem porn game in space with a vague gameplay loop and no "politics" in a way that'd upset gaters.
They apparently found it boring and it didn't really make a splash.
