Honestly a good question. Maybe it's one of those nostalgia thingies where time makes them seem less shit than they actually were, but I'm leaning Ted cruz barely by virtue of him being a fucking smug dirtbag of a worm who knows he has wealth and power and openly flaunts it. His "vacation" flight to... cancoon? A few years back when Texas' power grid got rocked by Jack Frost and he just smugly played it off. Love to hate the guy. JD in his current life cycle is just cringe incarnate.

I would've said JD if his pre-political past life of being a drifting dipshit had just a bit more relatability. Maybe if he had written about a hot couch guy experience or accidentally made a pressure cooker bomb out of his moms favorite slow-cooker, or some shit.

I think JD Vance being an absolute dirtbag who throws his family under the bus makes him relatable. That sounds like I lot of people I've known, but he was at least able to go far with it.

Ah maybe that's where we differ on relatability between these dirtbags, I find cruz more relatable since he cares more about his family than vance since I know a lot more people who are scum but at least like their family.
