I don't see the upside of doing this for the Democratic Party. If they're right, I suppose it's smug points, but it both pisses people off because of the arrogance and it makes their own potential voters complacent.
Do wine liberals crave smugness that much?
for fucks sake, at least Hillary was up ~5 points nationally and leading in some swing states when her birthday tweet dropped
I mean Hillary did win the popular vote, it was just the much beloved institutions that cost her the presidency.
every political campaign has to project confidence to some degree. maybe not when the polls are this close tho.

I saw this post and thought she was in a comfortable lead. I went to look at the polls and saw that she's not in a favorable position and it's just getting worse. I find that quite hilarious and I can't wait to see this memed in about 2 weeks.
