Here's a hot take:
Someone said "people tend to vote for the party/people they think have done the most to improve their material conditions". If you look at the usa, neither party has done shit for the average person in a very long time.
So how then do people decide how to vote? Vibes and conspiracy theories.
Almost every US election comes down to how well the economy did in the last four years. We get to play ping pong between parties because things just keep getting more expensive
