Lmao they're doing that because of funding potentially being cut, not because the country is "d-removed". Those Azov Nazis, OUN, Right Sector etc. were directly invovled in Steve Bannon's plan to unite fascist European parties over the last decade and a half.
Conservatives only hate Ukraine because it's part of their asinine culture war, not because they oppose the fascist ideals of the Ukranian state.
