I wish we'd get out of this era entirely. Might be that we're already seeing the end of it, but it can't come fast enough. To be honest, a lot of "rethought what you think of the goody-two-shoes plot or goody-two-shoes cast" is very boring to me because it doesn't say anything beyond "What you actually liked as a child was a lie." What type of message is that? Some may say it's "mature" but I don't see it. It just promotes mindless cynicism.
