multiple people have died on the floor and some where beaten to death by other congressmen on the floor and nothing happened to them; it makes zero difference.
this is untrue. no one has been violently slain during a session of congress, Charles Sumner got his ass beat on the floor but was not killed. in 1954 Puerto Rican nationalists shot a few, but didn't manage any kills, and i think doesn't really count since they weren't members of congress or technically in the room yet

using pointless details to obfuscate & disseminate the thrust of argument was a western capitalist trick. lol
not sure what you're trying to say. how allegedly close or far a call it was is ancillary to the fact he survived & was in congress for 15 more years.
