That's wonderful to hear. No I don't follow him closely. I remember people making the Chairman Daou jokes but I didn't take those too seriously lol
The dude was literally a child soldier, came to the US as one of our darling token refugees, rose fairly high up within the bourgeois democratic machine with an idealistic drive to change things from within and then had all that shattered by Donald Trump winning in 2016. While all the other resistance libs stuck their head back in the sand he carried on and has had a pretty consistent line ever since.
Also I imagine given his childhood and then seeing the inside of the beast responsible for all that misery around the world had a radicalizing effect.
that's quite the interesting back story. I heard he had been in the military when really young, and then became a DJ, but I didn't realize he was a literal child soldier
