It's infuriating how the attacks on the mosques and random missiles fired into Gaza from just a month ago are conveniently forgotten. Attention spans are even shorter than usual when when fascists on thr internet are calling for genocide. I'm all keyed up, but all I can think to do in the US rn is to desecrate some flags.
Liberals didn’t give a flying fuck about Palestine for the last year and a half, they were all caught up in Slava Ukraini fascist fever.
Now they’re suddenly experts in geopolitics because u/SiegHeil1488KillTheOrcs on Reddit told them what to think
Same thing happened with the ukraine war. Every lib forgot what happened in 2014
And the fact that there are attacks on the occupied territories and killings every day. Or the fact that the last year has seen the record for the killing of Palestinian children.
The same people who called for sending back brown-skinned people 'to the stone age' when they are attacked, themselves murder those people's children with impunity. And that situation is considered 'normalcy' by polite liberal society. The arrogance and egotism on display when these people are shocked after they murder others' children is shocking, but not surprising.
