So I'm using his launcher to play on Lemmycraft and TGM just to spite him lmao (polymc is free so im not giving him a dime)

I think it's nice how dogshit the main launcher is at anything, forces kids to get into piracy. :-)

What I don't understand is how a launcher can be bad. All I think it does is maybe let you log in and then launch the game.

It does a bunch of dumb online connections and DRM stuff and advertisements I'm forgetting because I haven't used it for so long

Better ui, better at switching versions etc, and if you use mods & datapacks etc it's essential for all the features.
