I still only see arrows.
it seems some do, some dont.
I noticed it's only arrows if there are zero downvotes. As soon as something has a down vote then the numbers appear. Which makes sense I suppose. No point having zero sitting there at all times.
But my eye is very naturally drawn to the number next to the arrow (Probably because years of Reddit and also because it's the part where I interact) so having it there sometimes and sometimes not is a small annoyance
Oh yeah, it does the same for me. Weird.
I am very torn between giving you an upvote because you are correct, vs giving you a downvote to illustrate the lesson.
Can you link me to the comment thread in your image? I have also been having issues connecting to lemmy.world with mlem and would like to see the other comments. Thanks!

On comments viewed on the lemmy.world site, the number is in the upper right for some reason, but hovering over it shows both up and downvotes.
