False.

We all share more with our other great ape relatives such as chimps than we do with dogs.

It would be more correct to say she is a great ape person, but chimp at least gets the idea across. Dog person is right out of the question unless she is some freakish hybrid species created in a lab by a mad scientist.

At a workplace icebreaker, the mandatory FunFact™️ I offered about myself was that despite having cats, I was a dog person, but only because of the experimental heart transplant.

As a dog person, I am personally offended by your use of the term "freakish hybrid."

We prefer "good freaky boy/girl/dogperson." Preferably while giving us bacon or scritches.
