You could just browse your subscribed communities instead of All.

Yeah I agree, I mean I still mainly browse All. However that's always going to be the price you pay. You want everything, you get everything.
Problem is that the website and clients never remember that I want Subscribed to be the default.
You can change that in your profile settings, and I'd imagine most apps as well.
I know, problem is that this is never remembered and is reset back to All every time.
Do you delete/prevent cookies? If not then idk,
