Going to the store tomorrow, going to buy the kit that has the plunger in it and see about flushing my ear out. If this doesn't work the next stop is the urgent care. I tried to use more hydrogen peroxide today and that just made things worse. The weird thing is if I pull the skin near my ear tight or like swish around my ear with my hand I hear it pop and like kind of open up. I even tried doing the trick of closing my nose with my hand and blowing on my ear drums and it almost feels like it wants to pop. But I realize that way is dangerous and I could pop my ear drum.

A little decongestant might help your ear drain, but it can also raise your blood pressure. Something to keep in mind.

This is where it’s at. I had a stubborn ear infection years ago that I kept trying weird shit on, and it wouldn’t help. Finally tried pseudoephedrine Hcl and it cured it in like a day or two. Something about just drying your out shit out for awhile I guess helps. Makes sense.

I woke up the other night about 4:00 a.m. and my left ear was blocked. I will have a sleep and it terrified the crap out of me because I've never experienced it before. I took a shower and try to get water in there to clear it out and that didn't work but later in the afternoon it just cleared by itself. If you are still hasn't cleared up after 3 days, I know that drops of oil in your ear can help soften and loosen the wax up if that's what it is.

Tinnitus, perhaps?

Or another ear infection of some sort?

I do get tinniuts often but I don't think that's it. This all happened from some peroxide getting stuck in there in the first place, I think at least or it made the wax in there already worse. I have compacted wax I think.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Yeah, I got nothing, but definitely check with a doctor. Can you?

There's the urgent care and they take my medicaid so if flushing my ears out won't work there's that. My last stop would be the hospital, but I seriously don't want to do that.

Urgent care is basically a hospital er without the rest of the hospital, claiming to be cheaper, I have found price wise they are very similar. I would go to the urgent care rather than er if you need to see the doctor for this. Urgent care usually doesn’t have you eating a long time to be seen, usually in and out within an hour for broken bones, but for a ear flushing you would be looking at about 20 mins turn around depending on how busy they are.

This happens to me a lot. Probably a wax buildup that's blocking the ear canal, and slight adjustments make a slight opening or vary the pressure to the point where it FEELS like something's happening, but isn't. I've just gone to a clinic to get mine cleaned out.

A few months ago I bought an ear camera/cleaner off Amazon for about 40 bucks and try to use it regularly, but it's a lot harder to navigate than I thought it'd be, and it gets pretty hot after a few minutes.

The problem hasn't recurred since, though. But it's the sort of thing that only happens once every year or two, so who knows.

I hope you can get it taken care of soon. Plugged ears are a literal and figurative headache.

Sorry for the late reply (and for giving anonymous medical advice over the internet) but have you tried using some oil to soften up any wax? I have relatives that are very prone to severe wax buildup and it’s been fairly effective for them as both an acute treatment and as a preventative one. In any case, I hope you figure it out and get better soon!
