I have a deep and particular hatred for capital-r Rationalists because computer science is my passion and they have absolutely poisoned the discourse around artificial intelligence.

prisoner's dilemma is a solved game, how do any of these people think they're smart
This is even dumber than the prisoner's dilemma. The prisoner's dilemma only requires one person breaking to save their ass and condemn everyone else. That makes a lot less sense when requiring 50% means that a handful of jackasses can't screw everyone else over.
I voted blue because I thought, "eh, I'm ready to die if I truly do live on a planet with people that vote red."
So you're saying the correct answer is...

Vote blue no matter who?
Someone didn't see The Dark Knight
Because it's incredibly fucked up to kill a large % of people just because Rationality says that there's a chance I might die. I have faith in the goodness of humanity, and I'd rather die than be complicit in the deaths of billions of innocents. Not only that, I rationally know that humans love to cooperate.
He literally only cares about himself and cannot imagine anyone else actually caring about eachother. any slight risk of damage to the self outweighs all direct harms to others
"An ai god in the distant future will make a sim that looks like me and be mean to it if i don't try to build the ai god" is such an incredibly bizarre thing to take seriously, so i'm not really surprised.
Game theory dorks malding that people keep choosing "cooperate" in the prisoner's dilemna.
Twitter isn't letting me see the context, is this set up so if everybody picks red, nobody dies?
If so, Strong Female Protagonist did it first.
Yeah, and he can't understand why people would pick blue.
This is your brain on liberalism.
