I've never really stopped playing Super Mario World.

Mario World world map is like a Mario Kart track at this point. Every year we take another lap.
Does Pokemon count? Because that's forever going to be my jam.
honestly, i'm always running so far behind on my backlog that i rarely get to replay games. mario world/mario 64 is what i replay when they get bumped into a new service
Super Mario 3, there is just something into it that I just keep coming back to.
Too many to list but hereβs a few:
Zelda
Zelda 2
Mario 3
Mega Man 2
TMNT 2
β SNES β
Mario world
Zelda LTTP
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy 3 (6)
Bro yes, ff3 and Chrono trigger are amazing. Love replaying them
- Secret of Mana 1+2
- Terranigma
- Chrono Trigger
- Earthbound
- ALttP
... for the SNES. Those were the games I grew up with and every other year I get the itch to replay one of those. I've considered playing the remake of SoM 2 but the demo felt bland and off to me.
On a related note, I would totally buy each of those for the Switch so I could play them on a proper handheld, but the current system with the yearly subscription that basically only rents those games to the end user and forces them to stay online, is something I find off-putting. I'd much rather just pay once and be done, like with every other game in the eShop.
Super Mario World will always be my go-to.
Ocarina of Time, Super Metroid, NBA Jam, NFL Blitz....I'll probably still be playing these when I'm in a nursing home lol
OoT/MM, SMB3, SMW, and the DKC trilogy
Mario kart Wii
Pikmin 1
Super Mario galaxy
The original super mario bros.
Super Metroid and Super Marioa64 are masterpieces.
Zelda
- Link's Awakening
- ALttP
- Oracle series
Mario
- Paper Mario
- Super Mario World
Other
- Golden Sun
- Mario Tennis (Gameboy Color)
- Metroid Fusion
- Super Smash Bros 64 / Melee
- Rogue Squadron 2 and 3
Earthbound and Super Metroid. Though Iβve enjoyed the randomizers for Metroid more than the original game anymore.
Super Mario 64! I love that game. It brings back so much memories.
The classics like Super Metroid, Turtles In Time, F-Zero and Link to the Past are always on rotation but I always love to pop on Cybernator (aka Assault Suits Valken) for a good run and gun mech time. Time Trax is another one not mentioned often but is nostalgic for me.
Super Paper Mario
Oot and MM are always fun to replay
The first thing that came to mind was Excitebike but classic makes me think of 8-bit. Super Metroid if we're talking SNES though.
Ice Hockey and Golf. Both fantastic.
Ice Hockey was SO good! I still fire that one up from time to time.
I donβt replay games too often due to life in general and time constraints. Made time earlier this year to go back through A Link to the Past and Donkey Kong Country. Considering going back and playing Ocarina of Time sometime soon
Super Bomberman on SNES.
If I still had my 64 I'd break out paper mario once a year.
Done this twice since Nintendo put it on the virtual console. Still such a fantastically funny and entertaining game.
Love the OG! I've heard Thousand Year Door is even better but I haven't gotten around to playing it.
would love to do an OG Zelda playthrough with my kid and then try to beat the second quest
Gotta be Star Fox 64 for me
Username checks out.
Apparently Pikmin 1 if that counts as a classic. Played it first last week, and itβs been amazing. Got the rest of the series straight after.
If that doesnβt count, I still regularly play Super Mario 64, which is one of my all time favorite games period.
Ocarina of Time A Link to The Past Mario 64 Super Mario World Smash 64
Super Mario Bros 3 and Pokemon Crystal are games that I always come back to, so many memories.
Super Mario RPG Super Metroid Donkey Kong Country 1, 2 and 3.
Beat those games so many times.
Tetris Attack on the SNES is still the best puzzle game ever
I never see anyone talk about Tetris Attack, but I wholeheartedly agree. Definitely one of my favorite puzzle games.
