Actually yes. That's the whole philosophy behind the voluntary human extinction movement, whose motto is 'live long and die out.

Also not having kids is not the same as being alone. In fact not reproducing gives you a lot more time for sex, hobbies and friends...

Sex is gambling with my ethics. Hard pass.

No need, we're making the planet uninhabitable by us anyway.

If it's a cycle, do I have to beat my grandparents to break it?

[–] [email protected] 15 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Everyone tries to do better than their own parents, but they just end up fucking up in a different way

Like a Greek tragedy.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I'm not sure. I know a few people worst than thier parents.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Trying to be better does not automatically make them better.

accurate statement.

People I was referring to are terrible. They are not trying at all. Something like drugs or partying or just outright lazy. I know a guy who "life didn't change" when he had 2 kids cause his wife does everything. Like dude really?

Least I can say my mom and dad are better than their parents. Dad's father were real POS. Holy hell I'm happy not to be them.
