I remember this episode of Star Trek. Wanna say it was Voyager but I might be wrong

There's an even worse Black Mirror where they put a guy into a simulation running at 1000 years per minute. He is trapped in this one room with a radio playing "I wish it could be christmas every day". They dial it up to 1000 years per minute before leaving the office to go celebrate christmas. I worked it out before, but I think the guy spends in the order of 50 million subjective years trapped in this kitchen with that song playing. Absolute horror.

it's even worse i think he's just a fully sapient digital brain scan copy of a suspected criminal. so not considered human at all

so he can't commit suicide, go into shock, or shut down. just fully conscious 100% balls to the walls no sleep no shut down full jacked to the gills awareness for 50 million years with 1000s of decibels of sound blasting you that you can't escape but also won't physically damage you because you have no physical body

the worst kind of hell i can imagine like something from the Culture series

oh and it was cops torturing this living being for fun

Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.
