I loot Legion Denarii so I can load them into shotguns and give them back.
Unarmed build is great fun. Unarmed Courier Six walked into Caesar's camp guarded by few hundred strong warrior and proceed to punch Lanius to death making Courier Six the most powerful MC of Fallout universe.
Why unarmed?

The idiots give you back your guns if you play along to "put the platinum chip into the bunker" , then you shoot them in the face, go to Caeser, and shoot him in the face too.

No one clocks any of this because they're seperate maps. then you walk out of there, until the guard by the door tells you that you cannot leave with the platinum chip.

I think you missed the point. Beating Caesar to death with your bare hands in the middle of is fortress is funny
yes, but getting beaten to death isn't fun.
but what the hell do I know, I shoved all my skill points into Sci and Lockpicking, then laser weapons, then went... I want to use the chainsaw knife, let me put the rest of them into melee despite my shitty strength, oh look, every casino is taking all my weapons, well shit.
Really didn't help with fighting caesar, nor with the ultra-luxe quest.
Because Unarmed is fun! Early on it might be not so good as you have to make do with nothing or a boxing glove that would quickly wear out, but mid game when you get perks like Super Slam, slayer, and piercing strike, you became an unstoppable force.
