From fringe left-wing news site Bloomberg

This is why they're freaking out over tiktok so much, the level of censorship on US owned social media platforms is absolutely stunning.

Youtube once shadow-deleted a comment where I simply listed locations and dates where the US has toppled socialist governments and movements. It was something like, "Look what happened in Indonesia in 1965โ€“66, in Chile in 1973,..." and a few others. No profanity, inflammatory language, or sensitive keywords whatsoever.

It's kind of hilarious how libs always freak out over China doing censorship, but it's pretty clear that the level of censorship in the west isn't substantially different. The difference lies in what is being censored.

In the west, censorship is a duty of corporations which points you towards what the real governing structure is in the west

Exactly, and it's absolutely hilarious to see how libs point to the fact that the government doesn't do direct censorship in the west as an example of having freedoms. Like who do you think the government represents exactly, it's the people who own the media. They don't need a middle man to do censorship for them. They're perfectly capable of doing it themselves.

/r/europe's modteam are actual fascists. It is a vessel they use to pipeline people right.

They actively moderate it rightwards the same way we actively moderate our spaces leftwards.

Oh yeah, it's one of the most openly fascist subreddits on there. I just love dumping links about European economy collapsing there and then watching their copes. It's been hilarious to see how they were all high on their own supply at the start of the war, but now you see glimpses of them acknowledging that European economy is collapsing. I even saw somebody openly say Russia is likely going to win the war there the other day. The collective meltdown these people are going to have going forward is going to be glorious.

Sometimes when I read headlines I feel stupid. This one took me three attempts before I understood screm3
