So, one of the side effects of living with a normie who gets all of her music from goddamned fucking TikTok is that I've been inundated with the Lizzy McAlpine cover of "Teenage Dirtbag" multiple times per hour, every day, for literal months. Having never heard the original before hearing the cover, it was kind of shocking that she managed to turn that into something that my wife listens to a hundred freaking times per day.
Is THAT why it's goddamned popular right now? Mother FUCK I hate pop culture. It elevates the worst garbage, and somehow I'm the weirdo for saying it sucks.
