My dog when I smear a lil peanut butter on their meds: 
Oh yeah nut butter is always a great treat. I've also stuffed pills in bits of random shit that would glom onto the meds because my dog was an honest-to-god omnivore trash compactor that would enjoy anything you pushed his way
cats can be tricked too but the vehicle has to be something meaty, not cheese

I know that, but yes I mean I've tried feeding him lil bits of spam, chicken, cheese and whatever else in the past. He will kick it around for hours and not eat it, fuckin weird animal. Hypercarnivore they say, but he only eats meat if it's 60% grain by volume...

Saw a vet on TikTok say when it comes to frightened animals, if the animal is just normal, he'd rather handle a cat than a dog, but if the animal is crazy, he'd rather a dog than a cat. I think of this often
I used to work at vet clinics when I was younger, and angry cats become absolute demons
One of my fosters was uncooperative when they tried to scan him, so they scheduled an all-day sedated drop-off scan. When I went to pick him up, he was in a much sturdier carrier than what I brought in and it was duct-taped shut for good measure. Everyone was traumatized but him; he had gotten all the rage out of his system. Turned out to be OK and got adopted in the end.
the Visor on his bascinet looks wrong. I know this artist is 19th to early 20th century, but it's still surprising the he fucked up that badly.
i don't think it's a bascinet, the bottom is flared and edged which bascinets didn't do so as to mount the mail aventail on the helmet. looks more like a barbuta or celata/sallet.
the visor still doesn't look right for that, but the question is whether the artist just slapped it together in their design or they were looking at an incorrectly reconstructed artifact. many such cases that 19th century antiquarians went digging through old boxes of armor and made fits that looked cool on a stand but had mixed provenance and bad ergonomics. a visor-mismatch is a classic mistake from that
Meanwhile my dog will just straight up eat anything you give to him, no cheese or peanut butter needed to hide pills
my dog can always tell. try feeding your dog a soggy capsule because they keep spitting it out. not a good time
