I apologize for my anime ignorance here but I always thought Yuri was like a pedo thing like that other thing that Vaush has? Genuinely forget the name of it, not super into anime and much less hentai, and nervous trying to look it up.
Is Yuri not necessarily pedo stuff? Is Revolutionary Girl Utena or Shin Sekai Yori considered yuri because, if so, I love yuri.
You're probably confusing it with loli, which is pedo stuff.
I don't think there's a strict dictionary definition because it's a slang term, but imo Yuri means the work focuses on romantic relationships between women (or girls). Utena is definitely yuri. Haven't seen Shin Sekai Yori but if there are at least two female leads and they're at least semi-plausibly gay, it's also yuri.

Shin Sekai Yori is definitely also yuri then. My favorite anime is yuri. I love yuri.
