What kind of bass do you have?
I have a Yamaha. I got it as a completely free Christmas gift from a customer at my last job. It was a married middle-aged woman who talked to me about jazz a lot. I told her that I hadn't been able to play bass in a long time because I left my father's house and all my equipment was still there. I didn't get into too many personal details, but he kicked me out for being queer, so that's how I got to that point. This customer walked in around Christmas time with a Yamaha, and her son took a picture with me holding it because he loves music.

That's a really nice personal anecode, I'n sure the woman and her son would be hapoy to hear that you've gotten back to playing. I'm happy for you too.
Hell yeah. Iβve got a Yamaha fretless I got from an uncle that I stare at and make βboi-oi-oingβ noises with. My regular bass is a Jackson (fretted) because, despite a year of practice and lessons, I still canβt hack a fretless lol
I always prac some Mike Watt tunes no matter what i'm doing. Great warm ups.
