Looks like there was a split from the other one with the horrible take.

There is an interview about them here -> https://www.instagram.com/p/C9pkTF1RlQK/

Yes, theres a split between some political parties in Venezurla. Theres a Pro-Maduro/Psuv branch and a anti-maduro branch.

Even some right parties are also split into two, because some members didn't like Gonzalez. Parties like COPEI. There were a huge juridical fight over control of the parties.

I am sorry! I had the same reaction as you. However, after looking into this, I found it very interesting. To add more context, this is the Ballot box for the Venezuelan elections:

The PCV that had the nasty pro imperialist take was supporting an opposition candidate called Enrique Márquez(source -> https://www.instagram.com/p/C9GYJKApO1Z/) who got the following results:

Now, after knowing that their opposition candidate lost, they joined the fascists to delegitimize the elections. However, the other PCV(https://www.instagram.com/partido_comunista_de_venezuela/) actually supports Maduro and they are part of the coalition with Maduro. Interesting, that this part is often dismissed within the bourgeois media within Latin America and the USA.

This shows that there was a split somewhere down the line. This split was taken advantage by the opposition to craft more divisions. However, it didn't work as shown in the votes for the "fake" PCV's candidate.

Yes. Interestingly enough, just one of them got the attention of the bourgeois media while the other was successfully ignored.

Looks confusing.

It's horrible how anything recognisable we build gets coopted. :/
