Make sure that your username doesnβt already exist on your chosen instance afaik that would cause an infinite spin on signup.

Hm ok, sorry then Iβm not sure why Signups fail. Do you get a spinning button or does it redirect you to the frontpage?
No it just redirected to the sign up page, with all the fields blank.
I tried again today and it worked, guess the email verification service was a bit slow π€·
I am having the same issue, getting email_not_verified.
Signed up yesterday, so it's been over 24 hours. Checked my spam folder and there is nothing there from Lemmy.
The only way I am able to login is by using the password reset link, but if I open a new tab I am logged out and I cannot use 3rd party apps.
I tried again today and it worked, guess the email verification service was a bit slow π€·
Check your spam folder. Also, lemmy.world is growing rapidly and you may notice server slow downs, etc. as the instance is trying to handle the influx of users. Please be patient, it will come through. :)
