So if one or more CEO killing happens every day of a calendar year, will we stop giving a shit, like we do with school shootings?

Aren’t we at like 3 mass shootings per day nationwide? It’s not a problem when it’s the masses killing each other. Only when the owning class is hurt.

- The murder of a CEO terrifies the bourgeoisie.
- The state serves the will of the bourgeoisie.
- The state charges the alleged murderer with terrorism.
It's also the grand jury who had to return a true bill. They could have voted against the DAs charges.

This was like the literal opposite of terrorism
It always is to someone, it's usually just a matter of perspective.
The only people terrorized by this are health insurance CEOs, and they deserve to be terrorized considering how many people their rapacious, brutal profiteering have killed or crippled, both in a medical and financial sense.
Not just health insurance CEOs: the capitalist class is terrified.
One: Peter Thiel is a horrible person and I hope Saint Luigi visits him.
Two: They could chose to change their behavior and be much safer. Stop profiting from exploitation and suffering. You don't even have to go all the way to being a "good person". No one's going to assassinate the guy who quietly lives in a 3BR apartment and spends his afternoons at the museum, even if he's living off high interest savings accounts.
It would be supremely ironic if Mangione goes free because the prosecution can't prove the terrorism part of the charge.

The only terror incited here is toward the ceos which are the exact opposite of the masses.
I hope he gets a fair trial and the prosecutors get told by the judge to eat sand for bringing in meaningless charges.
