also can I watch one Yuri anime where its a wholesome romance between two respectably drawn women? like holy crap everything about the romance just feels like its sexualized for weird people. Either that or the romance is "hinted at" or some bullshit. Studios! Stop doing this shit!
This happened to me too! Just got into anime thanks to my best friend, so I went searching for some more to watch.
Found this fairly popular one (don't remember what it's called), Yuri, seemed nice and cute.
Downloaded it. Watched some episodes. ??? / ?!?!?! / This is not what was expected. Deleted. Removed from my list.
People highly rate "Yuri Yuri" and "Citrus" as good Lesbian romances when its just fucking sexualizing them! Citrus is basically incest while Yuri Yuri is just the classic sexualization. Animation needs to be liberated, because this is straight disgusting what capitalism and its problems are doing.
It seems that the second one, Citrus, was made by Passione, so that's definitely something people should stay away from
And I'm sad because the "female friendship" ones that have obviously have gay undertones, are just fine! Just give me a dash of love and romance in that and boom! We're done with our problems! El Cazador De La Bruja! Riddle Story of the Devil! Stuff like this would be perfect with that romance you can see the creators physically having to restrain themselves from making! God this world is killing art with its disgraceful values and motives, may socialism free us all.
Honestly, I'm still looking for that ideal "relationship anime". Just a nice anime about a wholesome relationship, no extraneous bullshit tacked onto it. I know it's not that interesting, but still.
But I've yet to find it. Either it has someone be incredibly awkward (and not in a cute way), or some point about one of the characters' past, which is never used in any meaningful way, or some other annoying detail.
A lot of them that get close seem to really just want to become sit-coms, or tease the viewer just until the last moment, when you finally get what you want, and BAM! it's over
Its such a monetized industry that they do all this for money now, nothing else. Keep everyone hooked with sexualization, and censor anything that may tick off investors. Anime could be glorious if it was just given solely to the workers!
Hell, they've even found a way to monetize the censoring part. They have people pay premium to see a couple more pixels on their screens
I genuinely feel sorry for these people who've reached such a low point that paying more money for a representation of some sexualised person is considered a better, more achievable thing to do than making meaningful relationships.
I saw that, why are people like this so much? Why can't there be art without incel bullshit? Can we just enjoy it for its complex story, or drawing visuals, themes, even just characters? Why does it have to be so grossly capitalist? Damn them all! how glorious japan and it's art would have become if the communist party of japan was able to overthrow the government! The first industrialized country to become communist! The death of western influence in the area! South Korea would most likely fall! THE ANIME!

The JCP nowadays pales in comparison to what it was 60-70 years ago. It used to take the fight right to the government. Now it's just another social democratic party, ironically preserving these rotten industry practices under the guise of "muh freeze peach", with them even stating that they're willing to keep the Imperial family if they play nice
