Utterly awful. Text is less readable, navigation is a pain, and to cap it all, they removed the widget that was the only reason to use it.

It looks and acts fine for me on Android. Perfectly legible. I'm always in light mode though, I find dark harder to read.

I am not keen on that font at all. It's a little too thin for my eyes. Are there any other better news apps with alerts? I did try Sky News for a while but the last time I tried that, the alerts were about things I considered not news worthy e.g. two YouTubers splitting up!

I'm still bitter about them removing the alarm function from the BBC ~~radio~~ sounds app

I only use the sounds app. Seems to perform its task suitably well.

Yeah I do love BBC sounds, it's probably the best designed BBC app imo

I don't like it. Full of trackers too so I deleted it

All apps are. After I installed the app tracker blocker on ddg I've been getting a regular 7,000+ tracking attempts per week.
