Reminds me of a guy I know who thought that cities were "stealing" power from rural areas that produced more than they used. He advocated the rural areas cutting power to cities and said, in all seriousness, that cities could make up for the deficit by switching to LED bulbs

"But sure, let's build a pipeline across indigenous territory, and use indigenous resources!"

Also, I thought they assumed every Muslim was a terrorist, so shouldn't westerners be celebrating that China is 'sticking it to the terrorists?'

Electrical grid interconnections are imperialism! That’s why Texas is the most anti-imperialist place in the US!

Is this guy trying to argue that these solar panels were just...there already and ebil China stole their electricity like the hamburglar or something?

I'm trying to understand what this is saying beyond the "China bad"

I think what it is implying is that "East Turkestan" owns those solar panels because...umm...sure the Chinese government was the one that had them built but uhh...they would've maybe possibly built them on their own without access to China's sizable solar panel industry and federal government aid? So it's basically stealing because they maybe could've done it on their own without the central government?

I really don't understand this kind of logic. Though I think him mentioning the value of the solar panels is a bit of a giveaway as to his real interests in the region.
