The U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) estimates that the city’s population has grown to at least 1.4 million, more than five times its prewar count, with thousands of people sleeping in tents with little protection.

That's nearly 3/4ths of the whole population of the Gaza Strip at this point.

The next stage of the genocide against Palestinians done by the Israelis. And, once again, they're broadcasting the next step of their genocidal plans to the world.

It seems that each time Israel ramps up their genocidal intents they get materially and politically rewarded by certain countries. Specifically the US, UK, Germany, Australia. And more, to their shame.

A lot of the people who refuse to criticise Israel today would have been quite at home with the Nazis, even if they were jews themselves. It is the same with those who justify the wrong doings of whatever state they support.

Isreal doesn't belong in the middle east, it should be between Germany and Poland so that Europe would forever be reminded of its atrocities. Failure to forcibly eject these colonizers would only result in more innocent palestinian casualties.

Evacuate Rafah where? There is no place in Gaza right now that hasn't been completely obliterated by Israeli bombs. Where will these people go? To yet another "safe zone" where they'll just be herded like cattle and bombed?

EDIT: I see the zionist propagandists are already downvoting. At least reply with some arguments first.

Rafah is pretty much the last place for people to go, that's why 3/4ths of the population is there at this point. There aren't any "safe zones".

They're going to force them into Egypt, that was always the plan. It was obvious from the moment they told Gazans to evacuate the north.

While they defund UNRWA. Great humanitarian efforts shown by Israel once again.

Evacuate: forcibly relocate almost a million and a half people, which is a war crime. Another example of this would be the Trail of Tears.

Attack Hamas: killing at least twice as many civilians as Hamas "fighters". That's the OFFICIAL numbers that the IDF are very proud of but refuse to prove, so the actual ratio is almost definitely much worse.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called for a “massive operation” in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, one of the last refuges for civilians in the besieged enclave, his office said Friday.

U.S. officials have expressed concern about the potential loss of civilian life if the Israeli military hits Rafah, a city bordering on Egypt now swollen with displaced Gazans after four months of conflict.

Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) estimates that the city’s population has grown to at least 1.4 million, more than five times its prewar count, with thousands of people sleeping in tents with little protection.

Yasmine Hussein, who has been displaced four times since fleeing northern Gaza at the start of the war, said she heard “multiple bombings throughout the night.”

National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said Thursday that a major military operation in Rafah “would be a disaster.” Under current conditions, he said, the United States “would not support it.” The United States has “seen no plans that would convince us that [Israelis] are about to or plan to imminently conduct any military operations in Rafah,” Kirby said.

President Biden on Thursday offered some of his most direct criticism of the Israeli military operation in Gaza yet, calling it “over the top.” He is pushing for a pause in hostilities in exchange for the release of some of the hostages still held by Hamas and other groups after the Oct. 7 attack on Israel.
