That's because it detonated in orbit, so it interacted with Earth magnetic field. Far from the planet, I think there wouldn't be an EMP, unless the targeted ship has it's own magnetosphere. But I'm not a nuclear physicist, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

There this French fold band, Skáld that usually sings in Old Norse language. In the song Hross, the first line of the chorus is "Hverir eru þeir tveir?". The way they sing those first two words sounds like "Fevereiro", which is the Portuguese (my native language) word for February.

I think OP's argument is that the interchange is a symptom of low density urban sprawl and all the associated maladies that come with it.

Even if it was fully operational, Western artillery used by Ukraine is more precise with longer range than Russian, so they can target the ruskies with less risk.

People don't need to use it as their micro-blogging platform, they just need to know that a site like govern.xy is the authoritative source of alerts. Mastodon's default timeline for non-logged visitors is simple enough for visitors to understand and get the information they need.

No need to seize anything. Deploy a Government Mastodon instance and run a PSA informing the public that the Mastodon is the official channel for emergency communications.

I mean, what is your alternative definition of “worth” if it isn’t “What you can get for it”

"Worth" and "Price" are different things. A meal that costs $20 has more worth than a box of dirt with a price sticker of $1 million.

The $44 billion Muskolini paid was Twitter's agreed price, not it's worth.

To give you an idea how poor this makes them, the largest municipality in my country, São Paulo, has a GDP of $170B. Yes, that's right, one city in Brazil has more than 3X North Korea's GDP.

Hell, Microsoft paid more than that for ActiBlizzard... North Korea is pathetic, the only reason it still exists is China, that wants them there as a buffer between them and US allies South Korea and Japan.

Well, Russia could send the Baltic Fleet to the Tsushima Straight in order to fight the Japanese: https://yewtu.be/watch?v=yzGqp3R4Mx4

Unpopular opinion.

I actually liked Starfield. I'm one of those weirdos who like this kind of "mile wide, inch deep" games.

What turned me off after some 200 hours of play was the unbearable load times in some situation. Just trying to leave the main buildin in Akila City was taking almost 5 minutes, on an AMD 5800X3D with a very speedy SSD. Fuck that. I want to play my shallow game, not waste time looking at a loading screen.

Isso é golpe pra pegar dinheiro de investidores e governos, esconder num paraiso fiscal ou cripto e fugir.

Nah. Too expensive, it would cost hundreds of millions that could be used feeding and housing the poor. Just dump the whole body on an active volcano. Same fiery end and it's possible to stream the event to the whole world.
