I get wanting your kids to have bond with adults as aunts and uncles, but it's only part of the picture. Don't you want them to bond with cousins? Don't you want to be an aunt to their kids too? Weird situation. I wonder if there is a plan for guardianship if they pass out if they've chosen godparents. Perhaps this is also an interview process

It's the whiplash that makes it bad. OOP says there were transition programs they could have gone on to make it easier but the Peters turned it down and have been saying OOP can stay as long as they like. Then to have that rug pulled out, told it was just business, basically feels like that "inconsistency" he got with his bio parents. OOP behaves the same but the consequences are different day to day and now he knows the Peters are just as bad as the bios.

Instead, they could have planned this all out, set OOP up for success by enrolling in the right programs and saying they want to help another kid like they did with him. Even if they didn't care about OOP, they could have just kept lying about their motives. At least now they're clear of the whole thing and they can wreck some other poor kid.
