Toshiyuki Itahana is the art director for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. PlayStation Blog had a feature where they discuss their concept art for the game.

This line art depicts the end of a fight, when the characters still have mud on their faces and clothes, and the adrenaline is still enough to make them forget their wounds. For the finalized, coloured version, I added a background in digitally. Most of the illustrations for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles are warm and cosy, so I remember that when I drew this, I wanted to draw something with a slightly different tone that shows another aspect to these characters.

Taken at the Vancouver Aquarium (Vancouver, Canada).

The lion's mane jellyfish (Cyanea capillata), also known as the giant jellyfish, arctic red jellyfish, or the hair jelly, is one of the largest known species of jellyfish. Its range is confined to cold, boreal waters of the Arctic, northern Atlantic, and northern Pacific Oceans. It is common in the English Channel, Irish Sea, North Sea, and in western Scandinavian waters south to Kattegat and Øresund. It may also drift into the southwestern part of the Baltic Sea (where it cannot breed due to the low salinity). The largest recorded specimen was measured off the coast of Massachusetts in 1865 and had a bell with a diameter of 210 centimetres (7 feet) and tentacles around 36.6 m (120 ft) long. The lion's mane jellyfish uses its stinging tentacles to capture, pull in, and eat prey such as fish, zooplankton, sea creatures, and smaller jellyfish.

Ever since the increase in image upload size, even with it only being a couple MBs, I’ve been able to share higher quality images with my community and in turn have noticed more interactions and subscribers, all thanks to you! Really appreciate the regular updates and communication. It’s been a lot of fun being part of this instance.

Running through old content with friends new to the game. It’s been fun completing stuff that I missed.

Thank you for enjoying them with me!

The remaster was so incredibly disappointing with how they handled the multiplayer. The odds of it getting remade were so slim and then when they do, they somehow make the multiplayer more convoluted than the original.

While the art shared in the Twitter post is AI-generated, a transfemme artist by the name of Evalka hand drew a higher quality version with a blank template for adding different flags.

I haven't read it, or really heard about it, but adding it to the TBR. Thanks!

Here's hoping! Job hunting is a nightmarish task. I recently applied to some positions I really want as well. I hope we get them.
