I worked on a TV show for Playboy & we interviewed the crowd from Jumbo’s Clown Room in LA.

This t-shirt speaks to me & I’m not sure how I feel about that.

E: autocorrect disrespects Jumbo’s. I’m also not sure how I feel about that.

FOP = Fraternal Order of Police

The other comment is stating that with the potential of a hypothetical FOP connection (aka the thin blue line), the issue would be swept under a rug.

Edit: just because it’s funny…

None of your neighbors work at goodwill, but how many of them rely on it?

That’s the point. You can’t see two feet past the disabled argument & so you’ve taken to disparaging jobs that non disabled people benefit & rely on. Aka, YOUR NEIGHBORS.

Once again, I’ll refer you to your local goodwill for an adult conversation. Go talk to someone who has just reentered the workforce & tell them the job they rely on should disappear because you don’t like it.

Go on, actually interact with these people if you’re so certain they don’t need the help those jobs offer.

You don’t care about the reality behind those jobs, you only care about how good it makes you feel to prattle on about corporate ills on the internet, rather than truly get involved.

Like I said, take care Richard.

Well given that you don’t seem to care about your neighbors well being, I pity them.

I’m not the one who started throwing around misinformation and miseducation about employment opportunities that impact my neighbors, you did.

You want an adult conversation? Go talk to someone who relies on those jobs you’re so fond of disparaging.

Take care Richard.

Miseducated: the past participle of miseducate, or to inform wrongly

“FlyingSquid is a miseducated individual who enjoys spreading miseducation with the sole intent to miseducate.”

you my friend, are in fact… miseducated.

Spent Thanksgiving on St George Island in Florida. Caught some amazing time lapses, Gulf Fritillaries, a Great Blue Heron, and this Van Gogh-Esque shot over the gulf.

Does anyone know what type of bat this? Poor little bugger hit my office window a while back. Was unconscious, or stunned for a bit, but did manage to fly off. Alternate angle.

Edit: I’m in the Piedmont, NC area if that helps.

I’m in inland NC as tropical storm Ophelia approaches our coast. Steady winds here already with 25-30mph gusts & building.

Late season Zebra Swallowtail popped by for a snack before the storm picks up here. Lil bugger was getting blown around sideways trying to hang on.

A Red Spotted Purple, aka a Whirt Admiral, showing off the underside of its wings. Marked with reddish Orange spots over a gray to deep blue to black gradient.

These butterflies use mimicry to blend in with more dominant species in their area. This one is mimicking an Eastern Black Swallowtail.

Found a mushroom growing up in a tree in my backyard. Curious to know what variety it is. Any information is appreciated!
